Kitchen Café
After all that activity on a factory tour, not to mention a trip to our wonderful shop, come and relax in our gorgeous kitchen. We promise to serve you the best cappuccino or hot chocolate in town, in the nicest surroundings. Sink into a squashy leather sofa to relax with the daily papers, then gather around our stripped pine kitchen table for coffee, lunch or afternoon tea with friends. We’ve even got WiFi in the kitchen, so you can stay for the afternoon and work on your laptop, as our cook rustles up fresh flapjacks, cakes and delicious dishes of the day in the world’s biggest Polka Dot Aga.
Watch out for our cooking demos too. -

The Garden (re-opens May 2013)
The Emma Bridgewater factory has a lovely secret - a walled garden just waiting to be discovered. In summer this English country-style garden comes to life with flower beds full of blooms and tasty fruits and vegetables. It’s also home to the chickens who keep the café stocked with the freshest eggs. Take a seat and enjoy the fresh air, and if you visit us regularly you’ll see it transform with the seasons. You might even find Emma’s husband Matthew Rice in the garden, planting bulbs before sketching a new design in the studio. Just ask a member of staff and we’ll open the doors to our little city-centre haven.
